The Watco Internship Program 2025 offers students the chance to gain hands-on experience in the transportation and logistics industry. - Assist with day-to-day operations and support project management efforts in assigned departments.
- Collaborate with Watco team members on project analysis, logistics planning, and operational efficiency improvements.
- Conduct research, data analysis, and reporting to provide insights that inform business decisions.
- Participate in safety audits, compliance checks, and risk assessments to support Watco’s commitment to safety.
- Help create presentations, documentation, and training materials as needed.
- Attend team meetings, training sessions, and company events to build industry knowledge and networking skills.
- Support special projects related to Watco’s services, including rail, marine, and logistics solutions.
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in a relevant field such as Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Finance, or related disciplines.
- Strong academic standing with an interest in the transportation, logistics, or industrial sectors.
- Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Previous internship experience or relevant coursework in logistics, transportation, or project management is beneficial but not required.
- Familiarity with Watco’s industry sectors and general understanding of logistics processes is a plus.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with data analysis tools or ERP software is an advantage.
