Responsibilities

As a Swissport Internship Graduate, you will be involved in a wide range of tasks and responsibilities, including:

  • Operational Support: Assist in daily operations within Swissport’s ground handling services, ensuring the smooth turnaround of flights, baggage handling, and aircraft servicing.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to airline passengers and clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction during check-in, boarding, and baggage reclaim.
  • Logistics Management: Support logistics coordination, including the movement and management of baggage, cargo, and freight, ensuring timely and efficient handling.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to existing operational processes, focusing on efficiency, safety, and customer experience.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments including operations, customer service, and management teams to deliver seamless services to airline clients and passengers.
  • Health and Safety: Assist in monitoring safety protocols and maintaining high standards of operational safety and compliance.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Contribute to regular reporting and performance analysis, ensuring that key performance indicators (KPIs) are met or exceeded.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (2:2 or higher) in any discipline, or equivalent qualification.

Experience
  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or any operational role is advantageous but not required.

  • No specific prior experience in aviation is necessary, as full training will be provided.
