- Assist in the analysis, detection, and mitigation of cyber threats and vulnerabilities affecting national security and critical systems.

- Contribute to incident response efforts by helping to investigate, contain, and resolve cybersecurity incidents.

- A minimum of five GCSEs at grade C/4 or above (including English and Maths), or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 A-levels (or equivalent) in a relevant subject such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or ICT.
- A passion for cybersecurity, technology, and protecting national security.
- You should be either in the process of completing or have recently completed your studies (A-levels, equivalent, or undergraduate) and be looking to kickstart a career in cybersecurity.
- Previous experience or knowledge in IT, technology, or cybersecurity is beneficial but not essential.
- Any experience in problem-solving, working with software or hardware systems, or an understanding of cyber threats would be advantageous.
- Practical experience gained through personal projects or voluntary work in the tech or cybersecurity space is a plus.
- A keen interest in cybersecurity and an understanding of common cyber threats and technologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.
- A proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Good organisational skills, with attention to detail and an ability to prioritise tasks.
- A basic understanding of networks, operating systems, and security tools is desirable but not required.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and challenges in a fast-paced environment.
