Description
The MidFirst Bank Internship Professional Program 2025 provides talented undergraduate and graduate students with an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry. Responsibilities
- Assist in various bank departments, including retail banking, commercial banking, lending, wealth management, or risk management, depending on the assigned business area.
- Conduct financial analysis, market research, and data interpretation to support business decisions.
- Help prepare reports, presentations, and other business-related documents for management and internal stakeholders.
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative projects across different departments.
- Assist with customer service tasks, including supporting branch staff with daily operations and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Support the development and execution of marketing strategies for banking products and services.
- Collaborate with colleagues on process improvement initiatives and operational efficiency.
- Shadow senior professionals and attend networking events to learn about different career paths within banking.
- Provide administrative support to various teams, ensuring the smooth operation of projects and daily activities.
Qualifications
- U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college or university.
- Strong academic performance with a focus on finance, business administration, economics, accounting, or a related field.
- Available for full-time internship during the summer (typically May through August).
Experience
- Previous internship or volunteer experience in banking, finance, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with basic financial principles and practices is a plus.
Skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze and interpret data accurately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with financial modeling or analysis tools is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks.
