Description

Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day operations across various departments including retail, logistics, HR, marketing, and sustainability.
- Support the store team in delivering exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
- Contribute to ongoing projects, such as in-store marketing campaigns, supply chain optimization, and sustainability initiatives.
- Help with inventory management, sales analysis, and customer feedback evaluation.
- Work alongside the team to identify areas for improving store performance and customer experience.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other business documents.
- Participate in meetings and brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and solutions.
- Support with data collection, trend analysis, and the development of strategic plans.
- Attend training and development workshops to expand your knowledge of the retail industry and IKEA’s values.
- Present insights and progress reports to management at the end of the internship
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a degree programme or a recent graduate in Business, Retail Management, Marketing, Sustainability, or a related field.
- A strong academic record and a genuine interest in the retail industry, design, and sustainability practices.
Experience
- Previous internships, part-time roles, or volunteer work in retail, customer service, logistics, or business operations is advantageous but not required.
- Any experience working with teams, customer-facing roles, or project-based work is a plus.
Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute to group projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
