Description
The GE Internship Placements Program 2025 is designed to offer undergraduate and graduate students a comprehensive opportunity to gain real-world experience and develop key skills in a dynamic, global business environment. Responsibilities
- Assist in Project Execution: Support various teams with the execution of key projects and initiatives, contributing to the completion of both short-term and long-term objectives.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and support data-driven decision-making processes.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work alongside different departments such as engineering, finance, marketing, and operations to gain a well-rounded understanding of the business.
- Reporting and Presentation: Prepare presentations, reports, and other documentation to communicate project progress, findings, and recommendations to management.
- Innovation & Problem Solving: Contribute ideas to process improvements and assist in the development of new product/service offerings.
- Shadowing and Learning: Participate in team meetings, events, and training sessions to understand the GE work culture, enhance professional development, and learn from experienced professionals.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in fields such as Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or any related discipline.
- Academic Standing: Strong academic performance with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent.
- Location: Internships may be available in multiple global locations. Must be willing to relocate as per the program requirements.
Experience
- Previous Experience: No prior internship experience is necessary, although prior internships or academic projects related to business, technology, or engineering would be an advantage.
- Interest in Industry: A keen interest in GE’s business sectors, including energy, technology, healthcare, and finance, will be beneficial.
Skills
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, perform market research, and provide actionable insights.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present information clearly and concisely.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with colleagues across different functions.
