Description
The purpose of the DEN International Internship Program is to provide participants with comprehensive experience in airport operations, project management, and customer service, all while supporting DEN’s mission to connect the world. This internship equips interns with the technical and professional skills needed to advance in the global aviation industry.
Responsibilities
Interns in the DEN International Program will engage in various duties, which may include:
- Supporting daily airport operations, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Assisting with project management for ongoing infrastructure and improvement projects.
- Conducting data analysis to support airport operations, safety, and environmental initiatives.
- Participating in marketing, communications, and community outreach efforts.
- Assisting with security and emergency preparedness programs.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance passenger experience.
- Preparing reports, presentations, and documentation related to airport operations.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in a relevant field (Aviation Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Environmental Science, Hospitality, or related discipline).
- Recent graduates who completed their degree within the past 12 months are also eligible.
Experience
- Prior experience or coursework in airport operations, customer service, project management, or data analysis is preferred but not required.
- Previous internship or work experience in aviation or transportation is advantageous.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of airport operations or GIS software is a plus.
