Description

The American College of Radiology (ACR) is seeking ambitious graduate students to join our 2025 internship program. This opportunity is designed to provide interns with real-world experience in the healthcare, radiology, and medical research fields. Interns will work on impactful projects, support clinical initiatives, and contribute to research that advances the mission of ACR to improve patient care and enhance healthcare outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Research and Data Analysis: Conduct data collection, statistical analysis, and research on healthcare trends and radiology practices to support clinical research and reporting.
  • Project Support: Assist in project management tasks, including planning, documenting, and supporting the implementation of ACR programs.
  • Policy Analysis and Documentation: Contribute to analyzing healthcare policies, preparing reports, and developing materials for advocacy initiatives.
  • Outreach and Communication: Develop content for communication campaigns, newsletters, and outreach efforts aimed at ACR members and healthcare providers.
  • Administrative Support: Attend team meetings, support documentation efforts, and assist with other administrative tasks to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a graduate program in Public Health, Health Administration, Biomedical Sciences, Healthcare Policy, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated interest in healthcare, radiology, public policy, or medical research.
  • Authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the internship.
Experience
  • Prior internship or research experience in healthcare, public health, data analysis, or policy is preferred.
  • Experience with research methodologies, data analysis, or healthcare communications is an asset.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations, clinical practices, or medical research principles is advantageous.
Skills
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret research data, perform statistical analysis, and synthesize findings.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to present research and project results effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data handling, documentation, and reporting.
  • Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work well in a team and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in data analysis software and familiarity with healthcare data management tools.
