- Project Support: Assist in the execution and management of key projects across various departments, including customer service, operations, security, and logistics.
- Data Analysis: Support teams with data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform business decisions and improve airport processes.
- Operational Assistance: Shadow department leaders and participate in daily operational activities to understand the challenges and workflows of the airport environment.
- Collaboration: Work alongside cross-functional teams to contribute ideas, share insights, and participate in team meetings.
- Customer Experience: Engage with passengers and operational teams to help improve the customer journey and overall service standards at the airport.
- Training & Development: Participate in various training sessions, workshops, and mentoring programs to build skills in leadership, project management, and aviation-specific knowledge.
- Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in airport management.
- Minimum Requirement:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program or a recent graduate (within the last 12 months) in a relevant field (Business, Aviation, Engineering, Logistics, etc.).
- Predicted or achieved a minimum of a 2:2 in your degree (or equivalent).
- Eligibility:
- Right to work in the UK for the duration of the internship.
- Strong interest in the aviation or transport sector.
- Previous internship or part-time work experience in a customer-facing or operational role is desirable but not essential.
- Experience in project work or team-based environments is advantageous.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse teams and customers.
- Problem Solving: Ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions to challenges in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
