- Ability to work full-time during the internship period (typically May through August 2025).

- Prior experience in research, policy analysis, environmental science, land management, or related fields is a plus but not required.
- Experience with field research, data analysis, or project management in a professional or academic setting is advantageous.
- Familiarity with federal regulations and policies related to land management and environmental protection is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
