- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week during the summer internship period.
- No prior work experience is required, but relevant coursework, academic projects, or previous internships in the aerospace, defense, or technology sectors are a plus.
- Demonstrated interest in the field through academic achievements, extracurricular activities, or personal projects is highly valued.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, Java) or engineering design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB) is a plus.
- Knowledge of basic principles of engineering or technology relevant to Northrop Grumman’s business operations.
