Responsibilities
- General Internship Duties:
- Support store operations and assist with day-to-day activities to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Work closely with different departments including sales, merchandising, inventory management, customer service, and marketing.
- Assist in organizing and executing store promotions, events, and product displays.
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers with inquiries and helping them find products.
- Analyze and report on store performance, sales trends, and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with the team to develop strategies for improving store performance and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute innovative ideas for product offerings and store layouts.
- Specific Projects:
- Undertake individual projects related to product development, sales optimization, or marketing campaigns.
- Support in conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.
- Assist in creating and delivering in-store marketing materials or digital content.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s Degree program (or equivalent) in Business, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- A keen interest in retail, toys, and consumer products.
- For some positions, GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths may be required.
Experience
- Previous work experience, internships, or volunteering in a retail environment is a plus but not essential.
- A demonstrated interest in the toy industry or retail sector is beneficial.
- No prior experience in the toy industry is necessary; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key.
