As a Republic Services Intern, you will:
- Participate in critical projects, contributing to operational, strategic, and process improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with assigned departments (such as Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Sustainability, Marketing, IT, or Engineering).
- Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with team members across departments to meet project deadlines and objectives.
- Engage in professional development workshops, networking events, and mentorship sessions.
- Present project findings and recommendations to senior leadership at the end of the internship.
- Enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, Finance, Marketing, or similar.
- Expected graduation date in 2025 or 2026.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Previous internship experience or relevant coursework in your field of study is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated interest in environmental services, waste management, sustainability, or related industries is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Adaptable to a fast-paced work environment and able to manage multiple priorities.
