- Collaborate with Merit Medical teams on assigned projects within departments such as engineering, regulatory affairs, marketing, quality assurance, and manufacturing.
- Conduct research, data collection, and analysis to support project objectives and improve product quality and effectiveness.
- Assist in the development and testing of medical device prototypes and provide feedback for design improvements.
- Support documentation and regulatory processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and summaries of research and project findings to share with team members and leadership.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and departmental events to gain insights into various functions within the company.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program, with a focus on biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, life sciences, business, or related fields.
- Minimum GPA requirement (3.0 or higher preferred).
- Demonstrated interest in healthcare, medical devices, or technology development.
- Previous internship, project work, or coursework related to medical devices, engineering, or healthcare is advantageous but not required.
- Experience with project-based assignments, either academic or professional, is beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an innovative mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of software tools related to engineering or data analysis is a plus.
