The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is offering a unique internship program for graduate students in 2025. - Policy Analysis and Research: Assist in analyzing policies related to transportation security and contribute to policy development recommendations.

- Operational Support: Assist in day-to-day operations, including project management, tracking compliance initiatives, and improving security protocols.
- Cybersecurity Support: Work with cybersecurity teams on projects that enhance TSA’s digital security infrastructure, depending on area of expertise.
- Communication and Reporting: Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation, and assist in interdepartmental communication efforts.
- Enrolled in a graduate program in Public Policy, Homeland Security, Criminal Justice, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Strong academic performance and demonstrated interest in public safety, security, or government policy.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or hold authorization to work in the United States.
- Prior internship or relevant experience in government, public policy, data analysis, cybersecurity, or national security is preferred.
- Experience with project management, data analysis, or policy research is advantageous.
- Familiarity with federal security policies, risk management, or cybersecurity principles is beneficial.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data, conduct research, and contribute to problem-solving for security operations.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
